I don’t know about you, but I can certainly smell Christmas, if that is indeed possible!?! It’s almost within reach and I for one get so excited about this wonderfully jolly and cosy time of year. π With this in mind, my ‘Whimsy Wood’ children’s series and I were delighted to have a stall at Townsend Barn Nursery’s Christmas Fair this week in Poulshot Village Hall in Wiltshire. There were mini mince pies galore and mulled wine flowing for all! It was a truly splendid evening! π

So that was the first of our Christmas Fairs this year and the next is this coming Tuesday (November the 17th), at Edington Farm Shop in Edington, Wiltshire. This farm shop is classed as Wiltshire’s best farm shop and rightly so, as it is really fabulous. Their Christmas Fairs are always jam-packed with music and merriment, jolly folk and beautiful, unique gifts for all, so it really is worth popping along if you’re free! π This year’s Christmas Fair at Edington Farm Shop starts at 3pm and carries on until 10pm. Front Cover of ‘Posie Pixie And The Copper Kettle’ in hardback
Behind the scenes of ‘Whimsy Wood’, work has been progressing well on the creation of hard back versions of my 1st 7 books. We had so many requests and enquiries for hard backs, that it only seemed right to listen to demand from ‘Whimsy Wood’ fans! π Above is the hard back of ‘Posie Pixie And The Copper Kettle’ and below is a beautiful image of Posie, as she appears in this 1st instalment from my award-winning children’s series.

Here’s ‘Henry Horse’, feeling very grateful for Posie’s help. π
If you would like to order a copy of this in time for Christmas, or you’d like further information about my series, then please click on this link, thank you:-Β http://abelapublishing.com/posie-pixie-and-the-copper-kettle–book-1-in-the-whimsy-wood-series–hardback_p31204951.htm

Now, as I look down on the woodland floor of the enchanting ‘Whimsy Wood’, I can see ‘Wibble Woodlouse’ scuttling off home, to the copper kettle house that she lives in with ‘Posie Pixie’. Wibble had been visiting her family who live under the large lime log in the middle of the wood, you see. She often does that on a Sunday afternoon. π ‘Skittle Spider’ is busy weaving charming cobwebs in the lower branches of an old oak tree and ‘Dr Tustle the tawny owl’ is about to leave his nest and visit ‘Raspberry Rabbit’. She hurt her paw whilst tidying up her ‘Treasure Room’ in her burrow earlier today, poor thing.
Well, that’s it from me for now. I’ll close the heavy oak doors to the magical world of ‘Whimsy Wood’ today and wish you a wonderfully whimsical week ahead. π
